PREPAID CELL PHONE PLANS

Virgin Mobile USA offers 18 cents a minute for calling on their prepaid cell phone plans. The rate is the same for peak and off peak calls.

Virgin Mobile also has text messaging plans for your prepaid cell phone. Text messaging is 5 cents per text message. If you buy a package for text messaging you can buy as many as 1000 messages for only $10. Picture messaging is 25 cents per message.

Ring tones for their prepaid cell phones are also available. Polyphonic ring tones are $2, superphonic tones are $2.50 and games for your prepaid cell phone range from $1-$6 per game.

Mobile Email is $3.99 per month, wallpapers are up to $2. Calls made to 411 are $1.75 per phone call plus the normal airtime charge. Remember that Virgin Mobile USA uses the Sprint PCS network for their prepaid cell phone service so make sure you are satisfied with that network when making a decision about your prepaid cell phone purchase.
